After long battles caused by the pandemic in the world, I finally managed to visit the country of South America for the first time. The original plan was completely different, but life verified the plans and the country that I finally managed to see was Brazil, and more precisely, the great Rio de Janeiro.
Honestly, the city was initially overwhelmed with its size; you have to remember that Rio is a metropolis of over 6 million. This is definitely not a typical European resort, where there are optional excursions points, currency exchange offices, etc. at every turn. Another surprise, or maybe a problem, is the poor knowledge of English everywhere. Restaurants, cafés, shops or public transport – you can communicate in Brazilian (Portuguese) and Spanish. Fortunately, there will always be someone to help…
Rio is a beautiful place that is definitely worth visiting. Here you can relax and actively spend time exploring the city and its surroundings.
