After the first day of sightseeing, it was time to rest and regenerate for further exploration of Malta. Today I decided to spend the day at the Blue Lagoon, which is located on the island of Comino. You can book a day trip to the lagoon. The bus picks me up from the designated meeting point and takes me to the port where we board the ship. Then we sail to the destination point and after free time we are driven back to our hotels. The cruise itself along the coast of Malta is a real attraction. Beautiful cliffs falling straight into the sea are breathtaking. The Maltese lagoon is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Europe. There is incredibly crystal, clear, warm and shallow water with light powdery sand, surrounded on two sides by the islands of Comino and Cominotto. It is an ideal place to sunbathe on the beach, bathe in turquoise water, or spend time actively snorkelling and admiring the lush marine fauna and flora
