On the next day of exploring Malta, I decided to travel by bus. Specifically, the well-known red double-decker bus that stops at the biggest attractions of a city. I was passing through the town of Mdina, which is located in the centre of the island and is slightly higher than the other agglomerations of Malta. It is surrounded by defensive walls, from which you can admire the panorama of the entire island. Apparently, if you hit the good transparency of the air, you can see the Etna volcano located on the neighbouring island. Maybe someone will not make my mistake and visit this town making a stop during sightseeing. Then I went to the seaside town of Sliema. It is Malta’s most populous city with 15,000 inhabitants. There are mainly hotels, business centres, numerous shops and restaurants here. Interesting attractions include a promenade with a port and a beautiful view of Valletta.
I decided to spend my last day in Malta peacefully… enjoy the beautiful weather, wandering around the narrow streets, eating ice cream and delicious food.
Anyone who has not been to Malta must go there.
