Vilnius – park, cold soup and local beer…

It was a very easy and casual day.

At the beginning I decided to take a leisurely walk around the Old Town again, leisurely wandering around its narrow and charming streets. It’s nice to even get lost a bit, because you can always come across some interesting places or buildings.

Throughout my stay in Lithuania, the weather did not let me down; despite the fact that it was already September, the sun was shining over Vilnius every day, and the temperature was around 21 degrees.

I decided to relax on the banks of the Neris River and in the Bernardyński Gardens in the Serejski Park

At the end, you must try Lithuanian cuisine, although it is very similar to Polish, but you can feel eastern flavors in it. I fell in love with Lithuanian cold soup during my stay in Vilnius, it’s an amazing bouquet of flavors. It is also worth trying dumplings, sorcery, chicken in mushrooms and local beers.

Trakai Castle – unfortunately I didn’t manage to go there, but I heard from many people and tourists I met in Vilnius that it is worth seeing this castle, which is only 29 km away from the city.
